Pros

-they promote within the company: You'll never have to work under someone that doesn't already have experience. Nothing worse than answer to someone who knows next to nothing -Very easy to move up. Quite a few people I've met have only worked for a few months before getting moved up, and all deserved it -Detailed three-week training: Listen. This job is fairly easy but ONLY if you pay attention during training. It's a lot of info, but once you start answering calls, you'll be an expert in a month or 2 -they won't leave you high and dry: you have access to many chats once you start making calls. So, if you get stuck, it's always available -commission for certain add-ons: Sometimes you don't even have to ask or sell to cust, they usually ask themselves -even though it's remote, I still know and talk to coworkers, especially the ones I get frequently when transferring calls -Present CEO, if you work in the office, you'll see him often, regardless which branch. For remote workers, he does new hire lunches -Pleasant customers: Some of these people are frustrated, injured and dying, but still are nice and grateful for your help in improving their ability to live as independently as possible -System set in place to be able to congratulate and give thanks to your coworkers. -Fun little events several times a week including mental health talks, nutrition talks talent shows etc., all on company time, you just have to confirm

Cons

There's always a con in a job. I don't care how much you love the work. -Customers aren't always nice and pleasant and blame you personally for their issues. The company is really good about making sure you don't take abuse though. -Working from home has its own cons, none of which are the company's fault, and just take time to adjust. Make a schedule/ritual to do after and before work. Separate your workspace from the rest of the room/home. -KPI's sort of stress me out, again, just requires an adjustment period, but KPI are much more lenient than most call centers, will not fire you over them though but will reach out to you to see how they can help you improve -Every company does this, but I wish after staring, there wasn't a wait period to use PTO, especially if you start near holidays

Pros

The workflow is the same everyday.

Cons

Felt like management was constantly looking for ways to take away from the commission structure rather than reward us for our success. And there is certainly an ICR (Intelligent Call Routing system) Which allows management to dictate who gets what calls and who does not.

Pros

I've had many jobs and nothing even comes close to the working environment at Medical Guardian. Medical Guardian values its employees and is dedicated to providing the best service to our customers. Lots of companies like to boast about their culture but it's truly the wind in the sails at MG. The leadership team at MG is honestly the best I've ever had the pleasure to work with and for. MG gives back to the community, its employees, and its customers. I would always recommend MG to anyone who wants to be a part of a company that has such a positive impact every day.

Cons

The need to stay competitive and offer the best device means we have to move fast, sometimes too fast. MG has gone through some growing pains over the last few years but we've worked super hard to streamline processes and make sure there is transparency from the top to the bottom.
