Cons

-As a new CSR, felt unsupported by supervisors. EIther they're not available for they seemed reluctant to help -You will have clients screaming at you, or crying to you, every day. Mgmt. tells you to empathize with client but will not empathize with you for being emotionally affected by a tough phone call (and you'll have plenty of tough phone calls). This job is basically not for you if you can't compartmentalize your emotions because you WILL get yelled at all day

Medical Guardian provides their employees with flexible scheduling, overtime opportunities, and a comfortable work environment. Management puts employees in a position to excel through their extensive training, and is extremely supportive. Beyond that, the culture at Medical Guardian is top tier. We all work together to ensure our clients are not only happy, but also comfortable knowing they can depend on us in their most vulnerable moments. Medical Guardian provides an excellent opportunity for anyone who has worked in Customer Service in the past and is looking for something more.

Cons

Having 55,000 clients, there will be some days where you get off the phone with one client and are right back on the line with another.

Great work life balance. Management is helpful and consistent. There are weekly meetings to assure everyone is always on the same page and has the tools necessary for success.

Cons

The benefits package is too expensive. Other than that, Medical Guardian really knows how to treat employees well.
