Pros

You will learn how to be a sales person (cold call, build relationships, etc.) You will find your work ethic (11 hours per day and some weekends) Sales bootcamp

Cons

Micro managed to the point of suffocation - they do not trust that their employees are doing their jobs. Every call, email, contact has to be recorded in the CRM system and discussed in a weekly meeting Made to feel guilty when requesting time off You will never receive a raise (unless you become a DBO). Recruiters make 35k and Sales people make 35k - plus commission. That's it. The structure of the organization makes it darn near impossible to break 100k with commission. Unpredictable and generally negative leadership

Pros

The people are great. Medix does a decent job of hiring young college grads. If it wasn't for the people in the organization, I would have left in a week. The work is enjoyable and challenging but only if managed appropriately. The benefits are decent as well.

Cons

The organization has so much potential but fails to notice it. The overall management style is the organization's biggest downfall. The family who runs the company fails to show a lack of appreciation for anything besides their bank statements. The pay is terrible. The hours are even worst. The upper management must make a fortune off these young college grads who work 60 hours week. It really is "modern day slavery." Micromanagement does not help the cause either. It is severely frowned upon if you miss a day of work. There is no structure for growth and the turnover rate is very high. I was lied to in my interview and I'm lucky I was able to find a job to get out of there.

Pros

One of the reasons I started working at Medix is the opportunity to make money and career advancement. You have the chance to enter into a management role in a short period of time. Another great thing about working at Medix is the Culture. It is a very fast paced, competitive and fun place work. The leadership team cares about each individual employee’s success. If you are willing to put in the work it will pay off in the long run. Keep in mind the “long run” at Medix is about 2-3 years, tops.

Cons

Many people dislike the amount of work it takes to be successful at Medix. It is a sales oriented company so the more you put into it the more you get out. The staffing industry in general can be difficult to work in; there are a lot of ups and downs.
