Pros

Mental Health Days (you'll need them)

Cons

Literally everything. The "Medix way" is to degrade and emotionally and verbally torture their employees until they quit. The culture is awful. When you asked for help there was none available or it was blamed on you for not working hard enough or knowing enough. The positions are incredibly hard to fill and you'll constantly be questioned why you don't have more qualified candidates, but they'll flood the market with recruiters. The management is terrible and overall it was the worst professional environment I've ever been part of.

Pros

-no drug test or background check required -typically large hiring groups (30-60 new employees) to complete training with -No work or professional experience required

Cons

-No sense of job security- layoffs and firings occur twice a year in mass waves -Unrealistic metrics to hit- each line of business has the same metrics you are expected to hit despite industry/market differences. If you are not exceeding your metrics you will be fired with no warning or negative feedback ever. -Micromanagement- you supervisor will constantly ask you what you are doing and exactly at 8 am you are expect to have your day planned out and share that with everyone despite starting your day at 8 am -No diversity within the company- 95% of the office is new grads from upper class and wealthy backgrounds with access to vacation and second homes -DEI is only a buzzword and not valued -Long hours and required company happy hours after hours -toxic positivity, you can not offer constructive criticism or your loyalty will be questioned -No room for growth -There is not room for a seat at the table ever -dishonest about compensation and commission structure -low pay, prior experience is not valued or compensated. Everyone starts at the same base pay -Mandatory in office days which continues to increase and is now requiring being in office 3 days a week at least

Pros

Nothing. This company tricks its employees. Infers the job is remote and then requires people to come into the office. They also took away mental health days and require you to work after work hours and on the weekends.

Cons

Where do start. There isn’t much that is good about Medix. It’s clicks and poorly managed employees. The “managers” don’t do anything and when you ask for help they see it as a negative. They are unorganized and lack the skills needed to help a team succeed. They have taken away mental health days and the options to work from home when you wish. It’s a boys club run by girls that desperately with they were in it. Communication is bad and people are more interested in talking about themselves or their dogs then helping their employees succeed.
