THIS COMPANY IS SO CONFUSED. They want to appeal to people in Chicago (city) but refuse to match the initiatives of their competition in the city. They want new, younger employees with fresh ideas but get mad at when collaboration occurs. You can't appeal to these groups if you don't get on the same level as your competition. "Let's buy everybody laptops but make them work at their desks"... your competition is recruiting us and honestly, nearly everybody that is younger than 26 is always talking about how they can't wait to leave and go to a company that is actually operating in 2017. This is not 1980, Medline, GET WITH THE TIMES. Also, seriously? Majority of senior executives are part of the family and DO NOT DO ANYTHING ALL DAY (at least close your office doors while fooling around)

Managers are left to do whatever they want. If your manager does not like you, you will be out of there sooner than you thought without reasoning. Its a hostile and competitive environment. People look unhappy and overworked. If you have any complaints keep it to yourself. They have a "speak up" policy that only works for their benefit. They use that policy so they can get rid of employees that will actually stand up for themselves. They want robots that will come in to work, take insult and not say anything. Their time off policies are awful, super high turnover and there's a lot of drama behind the scenes. Stir off of this place if you want to be happy and be recognized for your work.
