Pros

Have relaxed from the strict environment of the past; nice new office; good product; committed to positive social impact; flexible working arrangements for non-locals.

Cons

Have become too top heavy with tons of managers who manage just a few people and each level seems more and more out of touch with the actual workers with the CEO not accessible; claim they value "associate" input but only if it is in favor of their agenda; upper management has no interest in the common worker, not acknowledging or responding to efforts to get involved; cheapened up on product--cutting costs but at the expense of value and then raising the prices beyond inflation rates; no real opportunity for advancement.

Pros

Nice employees and nice building

Cons

Environment and leadership do not represent the values that the firm claims to have and promote. Very disappointed to learn that

Pros

The organization is growing REALLY fast. There's a ton of opportunities, and when we recognize an area for growth/opportunity, we're usually able to accommodate with more/newer tools, personnel, etc. With all of this growth comes great potential for growth and change within your own role, into a new role, or even exploring other roles within the organization. Plus, working in the toy industry is generally just a lot of fun.

Cons

Oddly enough, Cons are the same as Pros in many regards. There's a lot of room for growth, but there's also a lot of chaos. A lot of SMEs (Subject Matter Experts,) but not enough people to fill the gaps between those SMEs. Additionally, since the brand has been around for a while prior to our newer teams, there are people who have been with the brand for a long time who have had a hand in various projects, etc... who are reluctant to hand over responsibility/information to those SMEs once brought on board. Compensation is great, but benefits are just mediocre. Additionally, considering our industry/the fact that it's 2022, paid leave could be a lot better.
