Pros

Great pay and health benefits

Cons

Managements is terrible and keeps getting worse. If you aren’t “in” with them, you are not treated well at all. It’s all about favoritism throughout the whole CU, but heavily in back office. Rules change on their terms, not by the book. HR will NOT back you up. Not even a CU anymore - it’s a bank.

Pros

Pay was nice Benefits were okay

Cons

Management is the worst I’ve ever seen, specifically in lending. If you aren’t a family member of someone important or best friends with a manager you are nothing to them. They promote the wrong people. Management is gossipy and catty. No work life balance. They expect you to be a robot, not a human. If you aren’t willing to sell your soul this isn’t the job for you. If you’ve got friends in high places you can just make your own schedule, leave to go golfing if you want but if you don’t have friends in high places you can barely take a lunch break. Not allowed to have personal conversations with your team during work hours- it’s a cult. Don’t do it.
