      Senior management can be mean, demeaning, and aggressive to subordinates, particularly in public Big company, lots of overlap in positions

      Pros

      They have high standards and help you develop into a better worker. Managers give plenty of helpful feedback and resources to their workers while also listening to the workers and implementing their ideas. If you work for them you will grow as a worker and as a person.

      Cons

      They have high standards and expect you to have the same. You work very hard at NHS so don't apply if you want an "easy" job. You work with people constantly and your customers have real problems that need to be addressed. Don't apply if you don't like working with people or solving problems.
