It’s a well balanced company between tradition and innovation. There are good benefits and level of salaries is good

Cons

It is a bit uncoordinated among Global, Regional and Local functions. This create more pressure for affiliates employees because at HQ there are many teams with several global projects which impact all together in one local area. On the other hand there is a bit of personalism in its culture

Smart, engaged people and very active fund. See most of the large deals in European healthcare. Leadership is outstanding. Ability to interact with research arm offers significant advantages for specialized topics.

Cons

The corporation Merck KGaA is probably one of the least innovation-oriented large pharma companies out there. I was verbally abused by an administrative assistant in the office.
