Pros

Great environment, constant change and challenges which means lots of growth and innovation both for the company and for employees. Still financially strong as shown by the year end results. COVID response has been amazing, really has supported the health, safety and livelihoods of all employees from additional sick time, relief fund to give financial support, headspace, care@work, equipment for those of us working from home (thanks for the comfy chairs), safety measures and testing for those on site, just announced a fitness app for the entire company which is amazing. Couldn't ask to work for a better company . All around great place to work

Cons

It is very fast paced and growing. not all processes are fully scaled yet but they are being worked on but this is a place you will work hard but have fun along the way

Pros

Great company for those with limited career aspirations. Competitive compensation and benefits. Employees have been satisfied with the response to COVID-19 and the company has been forward-leaning in this regard. Business and strategy is performing well, which is demonstrated in the stock price performance. All things considered, great place for those focused on stability where you can do the same job for 20 years and be satisfied with that. Would not recommend to younger applicants hungry for career development and looking to join an organization where they can have an impact and grow with the business.

Cons

- High performers are pigeonholed in roles they have outgrown, which has driven significant attrition particularly among younger, motivated employees - Limited if any career development opportunities - Limited upward mobility, new leadership roles have been filled from the outside and you can count on your hand the number of promotions from middle management to leadership roles - Senior leadership is a bit of an old boys' club - Decision-making, even on minor topics, is monopolized/concentrated at the top, which can be demotivating for middle managers looking to have an impact

Pros

Mercury associates work together to employ the strengths of each individual to accomplish big goals for the company and the customer. If you come to Mercury you'll have the opportunity to be a part of projects that make a real difference. Mercury's commitment to its people and their Culture and Values has really shined as the company has responded to the challenges posed by Covid-19. Adding employee assistance, work from home capabilities, and work force flexibility has allow the company to continue to succeed while competitors have fallen off.

Cons

The fast paced environment can be overwhelming for some... We try to mitigate that impact by making time for ourselves during the day to de-stress and take breaks. Work schedule flexibility helps a lot with that as well.
