Pros

Customer requirements that demand cutting edge technology require researching and working with the latest the industry has to offer. The technology and complexity of the systems, assemblies and software developed at MDS make for a challenging and rewarding engineering environment.

Cons

With the many divisions of Mercury across the country and so much talent, working for a common goal or project can be difficult to cultivate into success.

First, I’d like to thank you for providing your feedback. Hearing from our employees is critical to helping us improve as we implement changes across Mercury. I realize we have introduced a significant number of changes across our systems, infrastructure and security model in the past eighteen months. Each of these were done to help Mercury become a more scalable and secure company. Driving this much change across an enterprise as large as Mercury is complicated and clearly at times we could have done a better job of proactive communication and training. Our goal is to make Mercury a stronger, safer company. Your feedback makes it clear we have room to improve and you have my commitment we will make every effort to do so. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. If you would like to share more detailed information with me directly, please feel free to contact me directly. Regards, Jamie Ryan Mercury CIO

First, thanks very much for the feedback regarding introducing “corporate wide changes”. We always try to fully test and vet changes to technology and process, prior to deployment. Over the past eighteen (18) months, we have focused on deploying technologies to help Mercury scale and improve communications and collaboration across the company. While our intentions have been good, based on your feedback, we could have done a better job communicating our plans, the reasons for the changes and training employees. Going forward, we will make every effort to ensure we focus on testing, communication, and training. Thanks again for bringing your concern to our attention. If you have more to share, please feel to reach out to me directly. Best regards, Jamie Ryan CIO
