      If you enjoy teamwork, leading through core values, a fun culture and a supportive senior leadership team...Meritage Homes is the place to be!

      Cons

      Turnover has been an issue however senior leadership is committed to turning it around by offering additional training and support.

      I recently joined Meritage and am excited about what's ahead. They are a growing business with an entrepreneurial vibe and culture. The senior leadership team is dedicated to changing and transforming to stay competitive and make Meritage the very best place to work. They recently launched a new set of core values and I believe the leadership team supports and lives by them. #life built better

      High attrition but the senior leadership team is focused on changing this and addressing why this is happening.

      Decent benefits, nice office, good equipment

      Cons

      Will pay you the least amount possible and expect you to take on more and more work until you are doing the job of several people, all with NO recognition, NO additional pay, NO appreciation, NO chance to move forward or grow in your career, and NO fun. Employee moral continues to decline. Some bosses treat favorite employees to lunch regularly, but most don't show ANY interest in their staff. HIGH turnover and loss of top talent due to these issues. Retention of high quality employees is a problem.
