Pros

Just to be able to weld heavy structural steel, fabing and welding was great. Pay was ok, not bad. I liked my job even didn't mind the hours.

Cons

Hours your there min 50 hrs a week and the rewards are not that great in my opinion for putting in those kinda hours. Have to have perfect attendance for 6 months to get one personal day and if your a min late have to use 2hrs of it or get an acurrance. Ok they claim to be a family like company , but only if you don't get hurt at all if you get hurt and your not one of the favorites they push you til you quite or they find a reason to fire you. They go though a lot of people, good people not cause of the work or that they don't want to work but because if you show any kind of knowledge over and above their leads your black walled as a trouble maker. Promise raises upon training certs. And don't give it. I liked the work I did even didn't mind the hours, the politics was the down fall. And once hurt they didn't help to keep you from getting hurt any more in stead they did everything could to get you to violate you restrictions so they don't have to help you heal an d get better or be able to continue to support your family. They'll just hire some one else to replace you.
