Very unethical manager

Pros

none. All two-faced employees. Being away from management is the best. There really are no pros.

Cons

everyone talks about their pot adventures, the manager is two faced, she makes up lies about employees, tries to make herself looks better, there is never acknowledgement for work well done, unless you're related. Constant criticism. Immature behavior of manager. Manager makes fun of all employees behind their backs. Lies. Covers up for employees related to her. Sings songs about employees that are demeaning. There is nothing confidential, she will immediately tell people when she learns things that are not her business to repeat. Makes fun of potential employees. The list can go on. BBB has been contacted, as well as legal representation is being pursued.

Job with merry maids

Pros

Weekly pay is my only pro with them now.

Cons

Unfortunately I had a very bad experience with merry maids. I got hired with them.was very excited to start my job as I enjoy cleaning and they seemed like very nice people! Went for my training and video. They found out I was pregnant, after making me sit through training and videos, they pulled me aside to tell.me they didn't think the job was now fit for me and didn't think I could handle the work. I was quite upset, and also embarrassed as just because I am pregnant does not make me incapable of doing my job.

Hard Work, Decent Pay

Pros

Pay day every Friday, boss who cared, you develop good upper body strength. You don't need to work weekends.

Cons

Dental benefits only after a year of employment and only up to $200, which covers very little. High stress - people are very picky over stupid things and if you try really hard, you will probably still lose and get a lecture from management. I always tried my absolute best and it never seemed to be good enough. Exhausting work. Often worked over 8 hours with the only breaks being while we were driving to the next location because we didn't want to be cleaning until 6 again. We get lectured if not fast enough, but going too fast leads to mistakes; their expectations are sometimes unrealistic. Even with knee pads, my knees were in terrible condition during my time there. Some of the products were really irritating to the lungs and there wasn't proper protection for that aspect.
