Pros

There are some really great individuals here and in certain areas they have a great amount of talent

Cons

Don't work here. Seen lot of people fired, let go, or quit. Towards the end, mostly quit. They are essentially managed by a recycled amount of 'talent' that has little to offer, but enough arrogance to compensate. No new ideas. The employees often talk about 'when will the company be sold' and do not expect performance reviews or training. I received zero training. You also have weird relationships because you have management in Kansas City. And if you have been a manager long enough you can get away with anything including not managing your team. For new people don't expect raises. They expect a lot from new people, not a lot from people who have been their awhile. Also, they are focusing on expansion (not building a quality product/service) and are doing everything to suggest they want to be sold in the next 3-5 years (not to mention the owner is 80+, owned by a private equity firm, etc.).

Pros

Take home vehicle, get a gas card , they supply tools, 1 hour lunch. It's a great job for a single man and has no problem working lots of hours

Cons

This job was great till they changed to four 10 hour days and merged markets. Have no time to do any thing when you get off of work. They also just added GPS to the vans so they know where you are 24/7 and it monitor your speed.

Pros

They give you a company van paid training some tools if you're lucky they may be new uniforms and I gas card.

Cons

First of they have no clue what it takes to be a cable guy. At least the managers that I had met don't be long and management I have no clue how to keep there employees motivated. There's always threats it's never we need to do this it's do it or find a new job. They don't value a good technician they allow them to just leave instead of fighting to try to keep the guys that are worth something. The GPS track the Vans now which is fine as long as you don't spend every single minute of watching it just to bust people. They asked the technicians opinions on things and completely ignore them. When I started the job it was all about family it's all about having fun and doing the job right those values have gone out the door no longer exist. All about the numbers you don't have the numbers then you aren't Worth $0.02 to them their expectations for new hires is so high the nobody wants to work for the minimum wage but they pay. There's about a dozen managers at every Tech and they have no clue the minute they got their suit I forgot what it was like to be a technician. I have no problem throwing their own guys under the bus to make themselves better.
