Great place to build work experience as a graphic design/marketing assistant. Positive work environment.

Positive work environment and reliable, generous coworkers. Great place to build experience and work your way up in the company.

Cons

Only offered part-time hours and part-time salary for full-time work load. Printers were not up to date for graphics and marketing department.

Pros

Long-suffering non-management level employees have kept this place going for ages.

Cons

The pay is extremely low for the industry, and training is practically non-existent. The managers and supervisors seem to be good only for meetings, metrics and self-promotion, very little actual management ability. Continuous feuds between departments and field. Ownership is extremely cheap with the technology they purchase, which has resulted in poor & unreliable service to the poor customers, whom the company claims to 'serve with passion'.

Pros

Metronet is family oriented and hold family values. They understand when personal issues arise and are willing to work with you to resolve them. They trust their employees so micromanagement is not an issues unless you give them a reason to loose their trust in you.

Cons

They are a small company that is growing too fast... One of the CEO's and owners favorite saying is, "If you love your job then money isn't as important." They are the lowest paying company in the Telecommunications field when comparing to similar positions in the same area.
