Pros

head office was in a nice neighborhood

Cons

most of the portfolio managers were disorganized and impossible to get in touch with. several of them never answered their office phone or checked their voicemail so you had to rely on emails or staking out the building they worked in and hoping they would come in/out the portfolio managers and CEO treated tenants like pests they had to put up with, rather than the reason the buildings were making any money at all. Trying to get them to approve any maintenance requests was like trying to pull teeth and I heard entirely too often from maintenance that "yeah, CEO knew this was bad/old and needed to be replaced like 2 years ago. he didn't want to spend the money." Nepotism is the name of the game with these people resident manager pay was abysmal. Could move to Federal Way and get paid more for less headache doing the same job.

Pros

Pay was good at $23.50/hr.

Cons

No respect for employees. Uses the employees to put blame on their own mistakes. Absolutely no training, yet they claim they have trained you. As part time was only allowed to clock in 22 hours/week. Yet my personal work load required me to work 40+ hours. So I wasn't allowed to clock in for that amount of actual time. My boss threatened my job if I did clock in for more than 22 hours. I was told to ignore work orders from the tenants, I was asked to move new tenants in apartments that needed much repair. I was told to not have the broken down elevator fixed until a Monday when it broke down on a Friday so that the company would not have to pay the overtime for coming in afterhours. We have disabled persons in wheelchairs that require the elevator to be working . What if there was an emergency? That's just a small amount of laws I am sure were against the law.
