      The benefit of free train travel on NYCTA property was good.

      Cons

      Promotion rule of 1 in 3 is archaic! Does not recognize overall quality work done on a day to day basis! Did not recognize RTO workers who evacuated numerous trains during blackout and 911 incidents individually. Never thought of implementing incentive program tying on-time performance to bonuses for Train Crews.

      Where to start. This org is a misshapen collection of un-educated people in positions of authority. The Engineering Dept is a classic CYA enterprise. Waste is rampant. You will not have the comfort of knowing you personal information is private, they will ignore any and all federal or state laws concerning anything to do with labor laws, medical information, you name it. They will pay you about 20 percent below the market. Beware, it may look attractive do to the retirement and med benefits but you will pay a heavy price to get there.
