Inexperienced executives are not open to good ideas and see the people who generated them as a threat rather than an asset. Specific to Michels Trenchless. Some senior management personnel are not deserving of their position as they dont have much executive experience and try to make up for this through coercive tactics and will stifel you if they don't like you. The company went through a big reorganization so some leaders were in the right place at the right time, non merit based placements. It would be better if these people were confident enough to have a discussion with you to your face rather than play games and try to get their way via backdoor means. Avoid if you want to grow a career and not have to constantly look over your shoulder in case you are too smart for these "executives".
