Pros
I've encountered a mixed bag of experiences. On one hand, many colleagues are genuinely dedicated to doing the right thing and fostering a positive work environment. However, there are several areas where the organization could significantly improve.
Cons
One major concern is the lack of work-life balance. The company doesn't seem to value this aspect, which is crucial for employee well-being and productivity. Recently, a great leader who truly embodied the values and vision of the company was let go, while others who may not have earned their positions are still in place. This has had a noticeable impact on team morale. Additionally, there's an inconsistency in how on-call pay is distributed. Only certain employees receive it, which creates a sense of unfairness and resentment among the staff. Moreover, despite the fact that every single meeting is virtual, the employer has mandated that everyone work from the office. This change feels unnecessary and has added to the stress of commuting and adjusting to a rigid schedule.
