Pros

Decent Pay (most positions over $12/hr), Lots of fun to work for, Great benefits! Open door policy really applies, great management and training team! Incentives in most positions, Christmas bonus! Paid training and a guaranteed bonus while youre still in training since youre not in the sales system for a few months.

Cons

Policy changes a lot so it's hard to know what's what and there is sometimes a lack of communication between staff and management.

Pros

This is a small community bank where you can really stand out if you are very aggressive in sales. High sales goals are achievable when you are best friends with the Banking Center Manager and they hand you sales on a silver platter.

Cons

This bank is open 7 days a week and unless you are in a branch that the manager is actually a part of the team you will get stuck sometimes working up to 3 weeks with only 2 days off. Due to the size of the bank everyone is "friends". Do not go to the HR department with any concerns if you do not want to be labeled as a complainer and have a sexual harassment claim be spun out to be a personality conflict. You are given sick days but do not ever presume that you can actually use them without it being negatively reflected on your annual review. The sales goals are not realistic unless you are in a banking center that you are the only banker. If you do decide to work for this company look at the potential for commission as more of a dangling carrot not an actuality. This is the definition of a company that you are not going anywhere unless you are drinking buddies with upper management.

Pros

I had great benefits, guaranteed hours, stable company, every year we got a Christmas bonus of $250. The first year I was there, I received $1,500 bonus and the 3rd year, I received a $5,000 cash bonus. I worked closely with my community, great co workers, lots of extra fun events during the year, I saw the same people daily so I always felt like I was talking to family not just customers.

Cons

Policies are changing every 2 seconds and they aren't black and white, they were always vague and everyone interrupted it differently. When calling to our back office to get help or answers, a lot of the time they were annoyed, treated you like you were interrupting their day or they would just send you around in circles for a simple answer. Some managers just didn't care about their employees and they have a strategic game they like to play where only favorites were promoted. Some managers don't care how long you have been there for, how much you do, they only care about numbers and will discard a hard working employee QUICK!
