Thank you for your feedback. Miller Environmental Group adheres to all regulations set forth by the Department of Transportation (DOT) regarding Commercial Driving License (CDL) driving hours. Therefore any driver working a total of 70 hours in 8 consecutive days is provided the required 34 hour reset before getting behind the wheel of a CMV (any vehicle over 10,001). We are also compliant with the use of electronic log devices. We inform all of our CDL Driver candidates that the job may be labor intensive including the cleaning and decontamination of regulated materials from spills, trenches, drains, oil/water separators, boilers, tanks and other industrial cleaning applications. The successful applicant enjoys doing something different every day. One day a CDL Driver may drive all day to a disposal facility, the next they may be on-site remediating a spill resulting from a train derailment or an over-turned tractor trailer. Our employees often stand on the sidelines of history and help our environment while doing so!
The company acknowledges that our employees go above and beyond to service the needs of our customers which can be day or night. The sacrifice can often mean working long hours which is rewarded in several ways including compensation. As a family-owned business, the company also takes strides to help employees when their families are in need and provides opportunities to be with family through paid time off, paid holidays and a paid trip for the employee and family to attend our annual holiday party.
