I absolutely have no grudge or agenda, other than I wish I knew the situation before accepting a position with Miller. The bottom line is that the way they do business was just not for me. I did not find it condusive to the way I conduct business or the expectations of my customers. During my tenure, ownership changed hands and now under the umbrella of a private equity firm, who hired an executive from a similar type of company to take the helm. This executive hired the colleagues he previously worked with there to make up the rest of his executive and mid-level management team. The policies, procedures, and management style now in place is identical to the way this other company conducts business, according to two non-executive Miller colleagues that also worked there previously) Without getting into the gory details, which were many that I could write a book on, I actually only contibuted to this review because it was required to access another portion of this website, but there is no ill-will towards any members of the company. At least I can be at peace knowing noone else can say "why didnt someone tell me sooner?" Most seasoned professionals worth their weight that are used to fully managing and growing all of the business they are responsible for might also have an issue.
