Pros
The company is over 100 years old, but as agile as a start-up. There are many who say the culture has changed - yes it has. There are those who say it's better but just as many who miss the good old days. Culture changes - but accept that you are part of it; your positivity resonates, so does your negativity. For Miller Knoll to remain more agile and innovative, culture change is required. Ask yourself how the culture differs from what you were expecting, and how you can change it, or are you willing to accept that you cannot? Did you consider that for others the company culture changes are making a positive impact? As with all aspects of life, you should try your best to understand and adapt where you can before charging forward demanding change or walking away. Just like the place you live and the clothes you wear - you decide if it's a fit for you, and if not, you can work to change what you don't like, cry that you want it the way it was, or make a decision and move on. Is it a good plan judge a company with a recent major acquisition less than 2 years in, in a challenging business environment? That's your call but find a company in this or almost any industry that is not changing to grow and perhaps even survive. There is a lot of work to be done, hard work. There are a lot of challenges ahead, tough times. None of this is a secret, the company is very transparent with results, forecasting and goals. If you are surprised by any of this, that's the revelation.
Cons
