Pros

1. MindTouch has a great corporate culture and work environment. MindTouchers and prospective MindTouchers consistently cite the atmosphere as a key reason they like being, or desire to be, a MindToucher. 2. MindTouch has a great product that is well differentiated and it is commonly recognized as the industry leader. 3. We have an exciting and well defined vision and mission. MindTouch is helping organizations to create connection and understanding with their customers, buyers and partners by turning their users into product experts and brand promoters. 4. Great customers that love how we're serving them and a massive market opportunity. Zenefits, Docker, Whirlpool, Remington, Makerbot, Cisco, Newmar, Accenture, Tui Travel Group... Wow. We have a lot to be proud of in both our customers and how we serve them. Our Net Promoter Score is 76%! In addition to the great customer list, we have a massive market opportunity. MindTouch is successfully selling and servicing software, technology, manufacturers and service companies. 5. Impressive and helpful partners. SAP, Salesforce, Zendesk, Amazon Web Services... These are all partners that are proactively referring customers or helping us to scale our business. We owe all these great companies our gratitude for their help

Cons

The biggest challenge we face is market awareness and buyer education. Not too many know of MindTouch and if you haven't seen what we do it does require a short product tour or a little explanation. This is because we're addressing a green field market. I often refer to what we do as something similar to Cirque du Soleil. Imagine if someone told you that you were going to a circus. However, this circus has NO animals. Includes ballet dancers. But with rock music. You can't buy a hot dog or popcorn. Oh, and it's in a theater and not a tent. This might be a little confusing at first. Now go watch a Cirque show. Or, ask to get a product tour of MindTouch.

Pros

Good people, great location, modern office space. Quirky startup perks - catered lunches, public transport/parking reimbursement, company activities, awesome pinball machines. Startup company, lots of opportunities to try out your ideas. You're always encouraged to innovate and implement best practices. The list of clients they're adding is pretty diverse and exciting, definitely moving in a positive direction. Leadership is passionate about product/business success, but they also get the human components - work/life balance, families, etc.

Cons

If you haven't worked in a startup environment before, it may be painful. There's a lot of work to be done and you usually need to work with the resources at hand, from strategy through execution. For the right type, this is also creates great opportunity.

As you point out, high growth software companies are not for everyone. Things move fast and hours are often long. I'm very proud of our ability to promote MindTouchers into management and more senior roles. We have many examples of this throughout the organization, including (but not limited to) VP of Customer Success. Former Dir of Product, QA Manager, Sales Leadership, Support Leadership, Software Arch, VP of Technology...Sincerely, thanks for your feedback.

Pros

The product is an amazing solution to sell in today's ever changing world but the best part is working with highly skilled colleagues who can help make you a better professional. Is MindTouch guilty of holding people responsible for their jobs? Yes Does MindTouch expect you to deliver value to the customer on every interaction? Yes Are you asked on a daily basis "What are you doing to make your customers and our company successful?" Yes Some people have not worked out well here because they had problems with these requirements. If you are looking for a place to hide, this is not the place for you. If you are looking for a challenge that will take your game to the next level, then MindTouch is your next destination. We have a great group of people that work here that truly care about each other and our families. I am really proud of what we do and I am looking forward to a great future with this company.

Cons

Long hours but the hard work pays off for those who put in their time. It takes a little while to learn the culture, but once you do, you realize management is only trying to empower you.
