A great place to work warts and all, where you will get out what you are willing to put in.

Pros

There are some really great people that work at Mitchell, preofessionally and personally. My team actually hangs out together outside of work. The right people do take notice when you are able to produce. If you are an 'A' player, management gives you the freedom to succeed.

Cons

It does seem like there are some less than competent people that hold fairly high positions or receive undeserved positive recognition. There are also times when projects go completely sideways before the right people will engage to right the ship. People tend to blur their responsibilities until projects either have too many people trying to run it or no one is running it.

Pros

Great people, good atmosphere. Good place to learn new things if desired. Family like interaction with co-workers. Enjoy the freedom of being able to contribute in creative ways, not too much sticky tape involved. Not too much for rules to be adhered, get the work done and be done with it. Paid OT is nice, as it regulates the hours per day. Many old-schoolers know the systems well and can give a helping hand.

Cons

Lack of communication at times, lack of documentation. Lack of promotional opportunities for most employees. Knowledge hoarding at times makes things a bit difficult. Old school in technology and process, not much for process improvement (six sigma, no way). New ideas aren't easily implemented. Go with the flow or drown.

Pros

It is easy to stay safe, even if your a complete eff up. Mitchell is an easy company to work for, you come in when you want, leave when you want, wear what you want. You really take your own fate in your hands. But the issues it, when you do take your fate into your own hands and strive for success you get overlooked.

Cons

The people are rude! Yelling over cubical walls, eating with their loud ass mouths open at their desks.
