Pros

Laid back atmosphere. No phones. Listen to Ipod all day.

Cons

Life sucking. Management treats data office terribly. You are paid production so limit breaks and you might make 12 an hour. Plus they changed the amount of easy quick images so most employees recently got a huge decrease in pay, 20 to 30 petcent. Try and complain and you get there's nothing they can do. I don't trust this company anymore and only there for the PTO and insurance until another job comes along. Do not apply here. You will waste your time. I am so tired by end of week, I spend whole weekend resting.

Pros

Unlimited PTO, pay is alright, CEO and VP of Sales are very knowledgable

Cons

Middle management has no idea what they are doing besides one manager on the sales side. Micro-Management for Micro-Management sake but don't take the time to actually train the salespeople. Teams take each others accounts and management doesn't stop it. The services team has no SLAs and will insult clients on the phone

Pros

Mitratech exerts a ton of energy in making sure their employees are engaged. This shows with soft stuff like employee happy hours, departmental off-sites, weekly town-halls, etc. But more interestingly, I feel that they really gauge employee input and take feedback, ideas for process improvements, etc. very well. Even as a more entry level employee, I felt that there was an audience for my ideas and that I could manage my own projects if there was a sufficient business case for them. Also, the office is very nice and has gorgeous views. Lastly, the leadership team feels very engaged and on-board with their growth-focused goals. While the CEO isn't perfect, I got the feeling that there was true buy-in from leadership and management by extension. Mitratech is one of the few medium sized companies that truly gets their internal messaging right, and I think most employees buy into this engagement. Even during stressful periods, I never thought poorly of the company as a whole.

Cons

As with all small to medium sized companies, toxic personalities can be a tremendous damper. Particularly in the HR department, some individuals have a tremendously hard time taking criticism, and there is a palpable sense of favoritism, gossip, and drama. While most departments at Mitratech feel healthy, HR and G&A feel fragile and rife with sensitivity and egos. Additionally, try as the leadership team might, their aggressive M&A strategy can feel clumsy, with acquisitions completely rewriting employee's performance plans and annual projects with little notice. After the Bridgeway acquisition, many employees were working 60+ hour weeks, with very little messaging from leadership acknowledging that the workload was untenable. Mitratech could do better in preparing their operations for large-scale acquisitions and ensuring that future M&A doesn't tip the boat. Also, traffic is ridiculous given that it's right on 360.
