Pros

The people are extremely friendly. There is no hierarchy mentality. If you need something, just go to that person for the answers, whether they are a manager, VP or C-suite. The passion is infectious. It is exciting to see see what the application can do for so many and there is this drive to just help non-profits succeed and look good doing it. It does make you feel good about yourself for providing tools to help non-profits get more donations. It is very fast paced with features to learn and understand every week to be able to talk about them to customers. This is great because it is very visible that the application is constantly improving to meet and exceed clients needs. That attitude of constantly improving is great to be part of.

Cons

Communication. This is minor, from my perspective, but it appears in every job I've ever been in: a lack of communication. Something changes and it's announced to the company when it goes live, so the day of the rollout you have to figure out the change and how it's going to affect your work: what documents need changed, what you need to say and write differently, etc. Standardization. I've never worked in this small a company, but the idea that there's things like 3+ screenshare applications in use, depending on department, 3+ instant message applications in use, etc. feels odd. It does appear to be moving to standardization, but it was jarring when I started. Rush Rush Rush! It's great that new features and functions are being added all the time, but what was true last month, may not be true this month and it's hard to keep up with materials to review, scripts to change, etc. to successfully show off the new features. This may fit into the communication issue. With better communication/announcements for staff, BEFORE going live, will help everyone be ready when a feature is turned on, etc.

Pros

The people are great at MobileCause. They care about helping nonprofits do there job better. The benefits are terrific and provide plenty of perks at the office like free snacks and drinks. Growing fast so there are some fun challenges that makes the job exciting and interesting.

Cons

Since we are growing fast there are fast changes in departments that can be difficult to keep up with. Communication between departments can be improved so we can all be on the same page about certain things going on in the company.
