Pros

The work/life balance is great; benefits are fantastic, including vacation and 401k.

Cons

Times are rough for Moen as we've all seen the housing industry plummit. With that said, there is has been one merit increase in 3 years of 1.5%. Politics is beginning to play too large of a role in the company and the teach/grow/promote from within mentality is long-gone. One bad manager can make or break your experience at Moen. You receive more praise and recognition for playing the politics than you do for your actual performance. There is a sense of a "good ole boys" club that is very hard to penetrate, but it's a must if you want to succeed and grow with the company. Once they feel you aren't their "mold," it's as if you don't even exist.

Pros

Work from home was probably the best thing about it

Cons

You are a task rabbit, and you don't get much time to breathe between calls. The business model is as few employees as possible managing an insane call volume, for a warranty that over promises. You will say, the same thing, over and over and over again. And you might be thinking "there's no way someone could get that angry over their faucet, how bad could the experience be" You would be dead wrong. Expect a tongue lashing at least once a day from an over priveleged customer. The funniest part about of all it, the companies HQ is all state of the art bathrooms and has a gym and I'm sure fantastic break rooms, in a big fancy building with their name on it that customers who are local will say "oh yeah I've seen the building off the highway!" Yeah... The call center is a few miles down the road, smaller office building, shared by other companies as well.
