The residents and many staff make the job rewarding and fun I could work essentially as many hours as I wanted

Cons

Too many to list but I’ll do my best Management at facility level was toxic Corporate management didn’t actually listen to concerns but threw them under the rug Did the job of two nurses for abysmal pay Harassed by two members of management that forced me out Lots of on call hours Poor work life balance Inadequate training for all employees in the facility Solution to me asking for more clinical support was to create a director position that only served to micromanage and further drive me out

Pay, if you're a float staff.

Severely understaffed, expensive benefits (don't kick in until 60 days of employment, 12 months for 401k), poor communication, outdated and poorly maintained facilities, very unorganized, and training is terrible.

Cuts corners, hires inexperienced and unqualified people to replace accomplished staff so they can pay them less, unwilling to hire sufficient staff, disorganized, puts profit above wellbeing of residents at all times, ignores the low morale of staff, overall greedy and incompetent company.
