Pros

Mondo is a great company. I have been working here since the beginning of the year and it is amazing!!!! The culture we have here at Mondo is a youthful and tenacious environment where we work hard and play hard. Not many companies offer the benefits and perks that Mondo does, from fresh fruit every week to manicures and back massages in the office. Upper and Middle management are always around and easy to speak with. The company is all about growth; if you have an idea about something that can better Mondo you can easily walk up to our CEO and fill him in with your thoughts. It truly is an open door policy here. You choose how you grow in the organization; new positions are being created on a monthly basis.

Cons

There are no real cons to Mondo. I love the company and plan on growing with it.

Pros

I started my job search 6 months ago. I didn't want to join another staffing firm/agency, I wanted to recruit internally at a startup or a tech company, but couldn't land any interviews. I was asked to join either a sketchy small boutique firm with nothing but hopes and dreams to offer, or a bigger firm with a boring culture, a weak client portfolio, and below market pay. None of these companies didn't seem to be able to utilize my skill-sets to the fullest, pay me a reasonable salary, and offer a place where I can call home. Then I found Mondo or should I say Mondo found me. Career wise it's the best decision I've ever made. The base salary is above market for someone with fewer than 3 years of experience. The office is great, the culture is fantastic, and the people working there are young, fun, smart, and DRIVEN. Each day I'm asked to recruiting multiple requirements, with multiple clients, for candidates with all sorts of skill-sets. In six months I've already closed more than twice as many deals then I closed in a year at my previous firm. The commission here is fair, and the management is great. They allow me to own every angle of a given requirement, and although they hold me accountable for my work, they always have my back. The best part about working at Mondo is the fact that the company is in serious growth mode, which allows for major growth within. There are so many perks, benefits, and bonuses to be had. I've seen sales people and recruiters receive 1K and 3K bonuses each month. Combine these factors along, with the amazing office, and the fantastic culture. I honestly believe that Mondo is in my opinion “The Google of Staffing agencies” in NYC. When I first began my job search I was looking for a place to work, make money, have fun, and most importantly call home. I found this here at Mondo for the past 6 months, and now I'm looking forward to the next 6 years.

Cons

There aren't many cons at Mondo. You work hard and you play hard. The only con I might find as a recruiter is that I'm surrounded by other talented recruiters. This makes it harder to close more deals, as apposed to being one good recruiter on a team or firm, which I've come across by the way. Some might say that turnover is a con, but as far as I'm concerned there isn't as much as I seen here compared to other sales driven companies, especially within recruiting. The people that leave here end up leaving because they don't work hard, or they just don't have it in them. The people that remain are the ones that are closing deals, making money, and having the time of their life.

Pros

At most consultant firms your no more then a resume and an occasional form letter. At Mondo they treat you like a valued asset. They stay in constant contact with you and really want to fit you to the right opportunity for both you and their hiring clients. This isn't your run of the mill resume bank. I've been consulting now for almost 20 years and if your looking for help finding your next position give Mondo a try, it will be the best decision you make all year.

Cons

None so far. The company has been bullet proof for me. If anything changes I'll update my review but I really believe they are as good as they've shown themselves to be.
