Pros

-100% remote - Decent base pay

Cons

Please read these reviews carefully and notice the common themes. This is not just a case of disgruntled employees. If you ask about these reviews in an interview or on the job, they will tell you it's just people that couldn't "handle" the job and didn't have what it takes, but that is not the case at all. They will sell you on "uncapped commission" (many placements or deals you make will make you $0 commission and the percentages beyond that are way lower than comparable staffing companies), "flexibility" (you work from home but you will have anxiety about ever leaving your computer because you are highly micromanaged on activity), etc. but this company takes advantage of employees in a big way. This is a churn and burn staffing company that mainly hires people that have never been in staffing and learn this lesson the hard way. The metrics are insane and there is HIGH pressure to hit metrics every day. If you don't for whatever reason, you will get a lecture about mental resilience and toughness with no real advice on how to improve. They will just tell you to grind harder. Please go look at the average employee's tenure here on LinkedIn and you will see that not many people stay here for over a year. If you are not promoted, you will likely either quit once you realize what other staffing companies offer, or are fired halfway into a PiP.

Pros

Money is great, I have coworkers legitimately making 6 figures after the first year.

Cons

- Boiler room dials without the tools to call this much (50-100+ a day) - 45 hour a week minimum (day starts at 8am ends at 530) - To aggressive with customers losing business - You'll be told there are accounts to start working here. What they don't tell you is the contracts are invalid and you have to get them resigned. That means you have to now sell a contract (you get no commission) then find a placement to make. - CEO genuinely thinks Mondo is the most important thing in your life - You can't take off at all during December or your first 3 months of work - First three months are regularly 60+ hour weeks - Health insurance is garbage - Weird thing where management pushes you to get a deal on candidates you won't make commission on, just so management can hit their weekly numbers - $50,000 base pay is a joke

Pros

-You will learn how to have tough conversations -Flex Fridays -Fun Culture -They dont "track your calls" but it is very very metrics driven.

Cons

So many. Their MO is to hire people with little to no industry experience (no degree or background requirements literally at all) and brainwash them into thinking this normal. "Normal" meaning grind all day to find candidates, pressure them into taking jobs they may or may not want, and if they dont accept then working extra hours to replace them as soon as possible. You are really only told good job when you close a deal. If a deal falls through, you are reprimanded, likely coached on how to pressure better, and told to work harder. Granted, some teams are better than others, and many managers are better than others. You really will learn how to recruit quickly and well. Do you have autonomy over what jobs you recruit for? No. Once you prove yourself you can likely chase the higher billing jobs but that could take years. Sooooooo many deals are closed with no commission - but don't worry we're still making Mondo money so it's fine! The base salaries are a joke, and promotions really only occur if you are tight with the president. Your entire career trajectory can be dictated by your relationship with her. Want to spend weeknights and weekends stressing about a deal or about a candidate? Perfect job for you. Want to not be able to step away from your phone for an hour worried you might miss a ping? Come on! Don't get me wrong, certain people thrive at this job - but you have to have a very specific mentality (do anything you have to do to get the deal done). Oh and I heard multiple stories of people literally getting berated by management if stuff hits the fan.
