Pros

Collaborative culture between teams/departments, strong support from regional teams especially on pushing AI initiatives, transparent management when it comes to company financials and issues.

Cons

Resourcing decisions by upper management is destructive and teams are overloaded. Hire loads of people then let them go when new biz doesn't come in. Too scared of losing clients so end up giving work away for free, not hiring resources to cover the additional work, and overloading their remaining staff. Saw a lot of accounts people burning out and crashing. To be fair, current management inherited a lot of poorly costed contracts + projects and had to make do, but weren't able to push for renegotiation.

Pros

This used to be a great place to work. Amazing people (internal teams and clients), lots of learning opportunities, autonomy and flexible working environment.

Cons

Things started going downhill when it became unapologetically clear that Monks cares more about their bottom line than the people.
