      I Look Forward To Going To Work

      Pros

      I’ve worked in Digital Marketing for a while, so I have a lot of jobs to compare this to. Firewood’s embedded model is pure genius. The client treats me like I’m part of the team, and then Firewood has my back with negotiating everything and supporting me with ongoing training, providing me with a really great manager, and the co-workers are all super nice and approachable. The benefits are also the best I’ve experienced anywhere. I feel like that really says a lot about how you value your employees. Juan and Lanya (founders) are genuinely nice people and you can tell they are deeply concerned with the wellbeing of their employees. It trickles down through all levels of employees.

      Cons

      Onboarding was a wild ride. This is the only con of the embed model. Since I’m mostly on-site with the client, it’s more difficult to arrange time with my Firewood people to ask questions, and it’s awkward to rely on the client for training. People are in the Firewood office on different days so connecting with co-workers is difficult. HR sends out a survey for new hires so I’m confident they are already aware.

      Pros

      Firewood in an incredible company. To be part of a company where everyone is so supportive and willing to go out of there way to make sure you are setup for success. is incredible. So much room for growth and they provide the resources to set you up for success. The total benefit package is the absolutely amazing. Work / life balance is a top priority.
