good company to learn finance and investment

Cons

application development at this company is horrible. Typically, products run by people with tech background are decent, but the work style is horrible because those tech managers/directors are very pushy and mean. Products run by people with non-tech background is in hell, they use project managers without any knowledge of technology or finance or business. The worse part if those project managers pretend they know more than you do and acts like a boss checking your status every day. What ends up is tech people lost morale very quickly after working with those project manager.

Middle Managers aren't very strategic Lots of deadweight - managers turn a blind eye to lazy incompetent workers Doesn't recognize or reward hard working employees 100% of the job is done by 30% of the people Doesn't promote or foster career development Managers tend to micromanage and doesn't look at the big picture or even bother to think strategically. Promotions happen because of who you know not because of "what you can do" Low compensation compared to the industry
