New Leadership running it aground

Pros

Good lower level people still exist. Pay was fine, but not for hours worked.

Cons

The new leadership is driving people away or removing good people to replace with "yes" men (and it is men, company was a good mix of race and gender before now mostly white men in any supervision level). Insane work hours, they save money by removing people and adding the work to others. Environmental, safety and quality used to be in the forefront but production is now the only focus, and it shows in lessening standards and increased problems. No family or work life focus, if you get cancer they simply make an excuse to fire you.

Pros

Some really great people are still hanging on and they were great to work with.

Cons

Almost no communication from leadership. No business goals so no one really knows what they should be working on. Management literally spies on employees through cameras and by checking badge swipe times. The leadership has a general disdain for the employees carrying out the day to day work. Horrible culture.

Pros

The people on my team were phenomenal, hard working individuals that I was very lucky to be on a team with.

Cons

The pay wasn't great, I didn't get a true description of my job or expectations in the hiring process, the higher ups expect everyone to work a ridiculous amount of hours for no extra pay even though the reason there was so much extra work is because they fired people left and right. While letting a lot of the employees go, they also got rid of the 401k bonus as well as cutting down the amount of vacation days. I'm worried for the future of this historic company under the new ownership. They have let a lot of great people go who made this company great to work for.
