Pros

There are some really nice people at the company and the market position for what they do is great. The interview process, though rigorous, was well-managed and the welcome packet was a really nice touch. I had really high hopes heading into the role. The diversity is impressive, except it skews very young, which makes some sense as many roles are on the more junior to entry-level side.

Cons

There is a lot of talk about culture and how great life is at MI, and I think the org tries to make this work or maybe just believes it is working. In reality, it is a very clique-y environment (especially amongst leadership) and not as collaborative nor welcoming as it could or should be. Too bad since I had read a lot of great reviews and was really looking forward to the opportunity. The compensation is on the low end of the spectrum but you take it anyway hoping it will be as great a place to work as advertised.

Pros

Overall great benefits, good work/life balance.

Cons

Can be quite difficult to get pay raises and promotions compared to a handful of years ago when it was a smaller company.

Pros

Remote work. Some good people. New office.

Cons

The company does not align with the image it portrayed during the interview process. While managers emphasize the importance of teamwork, employees often feel inadequate or like a burden when seeking clarification. There is an expectation to resolve issues without proper documentation, which is either outdated or completely absent. The role is not at all what was advertised. You are expected to take on additional tasks to help others earn their bonuses, yet there are no monetary incentives or rewards for your extra efforts. The salary is low, and the lack of financial recognition makes it hard to stay motivated or feel appreciated in this position. Diversity is clearly not a priority, and feeling like an outsider is common. The culture is highly siloed, strongly emphasizing tenure and whether you “fit the mold,” rather than fostering inclusivity or collaboration.
