Pros

Working at Movemedical allows me to continuously expand my professional skills in so many ways. I started with answering technical support questions via telephone and email, to leading a team of trainers that provided on-site support all over North America. Opportunities for growth here are real! Being able to collaborate with a team of innovative thinkers that are passionate about solving complex problems is something that motivates me each and everyday.

Cons

Must be comfortable with constant change and understand that the continued success of the business is entirely up to you. These may be viewed as cons to others but are some of the things that excite me about working at Movemedical.

Thanks for the review! You are correct that we face constant change, which is exciting and challenging. Some of the change is reducing as we get a solid footing in the market, but we will always have opportunities to improve healthcare. To your continued growth!

Pros

Fast-paced. Team oriented. Value driven. Our service and product are needed in the healthcare industry. The team is hungry and smart. I love working with the ambitious leaders who want what is best for the customers and the employees. The software that Movemedical creates is cutting edge and not available anywhere else. It is exciting working for a company that values individual and team contribution, treats everyone with respect, and is constantly striving to produce better and better products.

Cons

Some people might not like the lack of bureaucratic structure. Since we are a small company with a very entrepreneurial leaning mindset, the ambiguousness of the day-to-day work can be stressful for those who value set rules and consistency.

Pros

Everyone here is motivated and looking to see this company succeed and grow. They are all very friendly and helpful. Upper management is amazing, they provide snacks to the employees, and they even helped pay for an employee to get home from work while she worked on getting her license. There is no "class" system here, while in other companies, having a window office is a really big deal, here, the president of the company sits in a cubicle, not because there isn't an office, but because it's what works best for the company right now. There really are no egos here, we all try to work together.

Cons

The biggest con for me is the commute. If I didn't love this job, I would never drive from North Park to Rancho Bernardo.
