      Mphasis should be renamed as EAST INDIA COMPANY

      Pros

      - Compete south Indian culture - If you speak Tamil or Telugu you will make a lot of friends - Your salary will never decrease - Manager will only call you 1 or maybe 2 times a year

      Cons

      - PTO never increases -Salary never increases - Position never increases - No 401k - No freedom to use your PTO whenever you want - They will never complete any promises made at the time of hitting - They will change policies every time so that company can make more money out of the employee - Internal softwares of Mphasis are probably made by 10st standard interns

      Pros

      decent benefits, vacation days/sick days on par with parent company

      Cons

      extremely disorganized 2 week in and we still have no SOLID idea what we get with these guys, just rumors about vacation days etc. tried to give everyone an 18% pay cut when they moved in, then once moved in started giving user the premium package of vacation, sick days, benefits...waiting for the other shoe to drop cause im not buying it

      Pros

      Insurance Work Life Balance Nothing much else.. probably your learn about office politics first hand

      Cons

      If you are offered a Role to work at Houston for their Client. Look away; there are better companies to work for with better compensation and growth. Esp. if you are being interviewed for a team under Ashif Hossain or Rathna Basavaraju. These morons would not have a clue the value in a engineer even if he is shoving a patent certificate in their face. They will consistently rate you less and give u a 0.x% hike, their main agenda is Money.. if you make them then they need you. You will not be given a chance to move to different project, you will not be given a chance to extend your technical knowledge. OH!! THERE IS NO GREEN CARD sponsorship, unless you have a BUSINESS JUSTIFICATION. young engineers unless you are looking for a temp job or a launch pad.. look at other companies.. don't loose your life or career here. its worthless
