The work is rewarding because people always appreciate getting their problems fixed. Mr. Rooter's demographic is upper-middle class so you won't be working in run down homes all the time (although you will sometimes).

Cons

Mr. Rooter has a procedure for all their technicians to follow which is very detailed and time consuming. This can cause trouble if you are backed up with calls or working for someone who just wants the job done.
