Pros

good stuff for aspiring musicians, who need equipment.

Cons

let people bully others, and take their side cause they do not know the other person's side.

Pros

No drug tests unless you are a driver, and get in a accident. The people you work with are some of the best people you will ever want to work with.

Cons

Oh boy. 20 word minimum? This wont be hard. I Have worked at the KCDC for a little over 7 months. Almost every one I was in orientation with has quit. I have seen over 9 people leave so far that I KNOW in the 7 months, I guarantee you there is more. The Higher ups as I will refer to them know nothing. They are all pencil pushers with degrees that have nothing to do with running a warehouse. Every week rules change. One week we will be allowed to do one thing, the next week it will change. Rules vary depending on what shift you work on and what department you are in. When questioned about why another shift or department can do something our area cant, they simply reply with thats how we need to do it. They cant give a logical explanation for anything they(higher ups) say. Some supervisors are more strict than others. Some dont care if you clock in 1 min late, some will take action. Employes are not allowed to have cellphones in the warehouse. I can see this for safety reasons since there is power equipment. This however does not apply to supervisors. Most all supervisors will sit on there phone all day texting non work related stuff to who knows what. I would not recommend this job to anyone

Pros

The involvement in a dynamic, ever-evolving industry that enables emerging musicians to achieve their dreams is stimulating. Access to cool instruments, technology and generous employee discounts are distinct pluses.

Cons

Executive management lacks insight into what motivates customers, and its sole focus on the bottom line is in the long run disastrous to the company's fortunes. Many major initiatives and projects are launched without any determination of the resources needed to succeed, and the people who will be responsible for execution are rarely consulted.
