Pros

As a culinary major this didn't do much in culinary skills but the experience was great in every other category. Our managers are huge on sanitation, portion sizes, and It's great for your resume.

Cons

It's a growing company so there are reoccurring changes in recipes And recently there's been shift responsibility changes which can affect hours so we'll see what happens next.

Pros

Looking back, I can't think of many nice things to say about the place. It seemed like a great opportunity to land a position in the corporate office. All of the other reviews seem to be true. If I had read them before I went there I would not have taken the position.

Cons

Lack of organization, discipline, and coherent strategies. Poorly structured command chain where multiple people think they are in charge. Different departments are asked to help other struggling departments because unqualified people are not doing their jobs.

Pros

Great resume builder. You actually learn how to run your own business... Which leads me to my cons

Cons

NO time off because as the Nutrition Coach you are responsible for every single thing that goes on in the store only to be reprimanded when things go wrong while you watch upper level management high five the General Managers for everything that goes right. While you work 60 hour work weeks with one day off a week and zero over time pay the General Managers come and go as they please and the Corporate "leadership" team is off celebrating in the corporate offices down in Texas. They have no clue how their business works and love to blame the Nutrition Coaches for their short comings. They know that their employees out in the field are struggling to make their business run and yet they do nothing and just continue to demand more and work their employees to death. They also started putting preservatives and dyes in the food with out even formally telling their NUTRITION COACHES - you know, the ones responsible for educations the staff and the public on the contents of their food! I had to leave at that point. Oh, and everyone's paychecks were consistently messed up with no explanation. If you want to build your resume up I'd say give them a year but DO NOT let them take advantage of you and over work you because they will by feeding you bs about all of the opportunity for growth because the growth ship has sailed... It really is sad bc I really believed in Myfitfoods...
