Pros

A bonus for working for My Fit Foods, as with any retail position, the schedule can be fairly flexible. The employees also get heavily discounted meals.

Cons

This is a tough question since there are so many. This company lacks HEAVILY in employee relationships. Senior management has made it crystal clear that they do not care about the employees that are beneath them. I attribute some of that to the fact that most of the senior leadership came from 24 hour Fitness and had never worked retail before. I understand that this is a business and their main goal is to make money, unfortunately, that is all My Fit Foods cares about. Most of the employees here live inches above the poverty and we are not allowed overtime, in fact we are not even allowed to get 40 hours a week. The employees that had been there for some time were promised raises but when the time came for them to come through, HR said that the company could not do it because they are broke. Ridiculous goals are set for each individual employee without any compensation for meeting or exceeding those goals, and if those goals are not met then the employee has to attend an underachievers meeting. The top 1% of the company benefits from the efforts of the 99%.

Pros

- Enjoy making customers happy and seeing their weight loss results really makes you feel good about yourself - Discount on food

Cons

Where to start... - First off if you are not from 24 Hour Fitness or you are not friends with the owner, CEO of COO then you will not get anywhere. - Education means nothing. There are people with Masters degrees that are still put on the botton of the totem poll. Seems like the LESS educated you are the more likely you will get promoted. - Mostly everyone in corporate at one time worked for 24 Hour Fitness so there is no real equal opportunity for growth. - The job is more about being a salesman and door to door soliciting then nutrition related. - They tell you how you can easily move up in the company, but that is only if someone quits or is fired. Very few people are still with the company when they started. Most either quit or were fired over ridiculously egotistical reasons. - Once you get into management you get NO DAYS OFF. you work 24/7 and the pay is not worth it. - Also never once did I receive a yearly review or income increase of any kind. They will keep you at the salary you make for as long as possible.
