      Claims they want betterment but the do not

      Pros

      Reasonable Time off, CoWorkers, flexibility

      Cons

      Upper management sucks and claims that they care, but they do not. Massive management layoffs in May to "align" costs, but most of them have been replaced by those on the good list. CEO is very two-faced. Keeps bringing in upper management friends. No room for real improvement in professional life.

      Great Mission and Science but is it a place where women can grow?

      Pros

      Great Mission! Literally helping providers implement screening programs within their practice to identify patients at risk for hereditary cancers and implementing protocols that stratify risk so those at higher risk get early detection. The most solid science and market leader in genetics in the world. If a patient meets criteria for genetic testing then $ is not going to be the reason the patient doesn’t test. Covered by insurances and Medicaid.

      Cons

      Upper management is mostly male. It’s possibly a male dominated company and women are not always seen as strategic thinkers and put into a box of being “party planners’ or “cheerleaders” while male account executives are treated differently.

      Pros

      I love what Myriad is doing. The work here is life changing. It affects so many lives of people with cancer. I love the work and the purpose it has.

      Cons

      I feel it is unfortunate that the CTO has changed the outlook (for the worse) for so many engineers. I fear that some of the founding characteristics in the original culture is being pushed out and replaced by greed, ego or personal status.
