Pros

Good benefits and vacation time.

Cons

Promotions are based on personality and if you kiss enough ass not on results or performance. Men are promoted quicker than women. Almost all of the senior management are senior management because of time served at the NBA NOT for talent or ability to manage others. Hence, professional growth is nonexistent. Sr. management are fossils and barely know how to use email let alone any new technology like an ipod, or texting!! if you do have 2 brain cells to rub together and are male, you are star amongst dummies so at least you'll move up the ladder fairly quickly.

Pros

- Brand recognition is good for resume building - Good parental leave and PTO policy

Cons

- TERRIBLE culture with uninspired, unintelligent employees that prefer politics and territoriality to productivity - Top-down management approach stifles innovation and diversity of thought - If you're dumb but grew up privileged and went to a “good” school, this is the perfect place for you - Way more interested in "Diversity & Inclusion" classes than actual diversity and inclusion (stems from pervasive CYA attitudes) - HR is inept - The amount of time you've been at the NBA is far more important than how good you are at your job

Pros

- Gym Reimbursement - There is virtually nothing else good about this organization

Cons

-Virtually everything. The worst organization I've ever been a part of. Stay FAR away. - Extremely poor compensation in comparison to peer organizations. - Extremely bad internal culture.
