Pros

Free lunches and no management interference in daily operations, sometimes you don't even know if they are in office. Developers have chance for good learning at career start, after 1 year it goes nowhere.

Cons

Upper management thinking they know everything and not sharing any long term vision to general employee #HRCloud. Lack of competent product people and bad blood between global offices. Leads wants to talk but not listen to anyone else talk.

Pros

Laid back. Some good people remain.

Cons

Confusion amuck due to unreliable management. Dubious and erratic decisions the norm, without accountability. HR SaaS company without HR? Equates to zero staff development or reviews, questionable hiring practices, unjust compensation, and poorly treated employees. Unsustainable business model. Very high turnover.

Pros

You get free snacks, good culture (if you're caucasian and under 30 years old), no accountability if you have poor performance, PTO is managed poorly, so pretty much unlimited. Good place to gain "experience" and by experience I mean a paycheck. They do pay decent.

Cons

No company direction, changed at least 20 times in the 3 years I was there. No career progression - I was never trained, or pushed to be better, pretty much sink or swim on your own. Management will treat you like another cog in the wheel, for being under 100 employees, you'd think they'd care more about culture and you as a human. Turnover is around 50%. Average lifespan of an employee is less than a year, because it's such a mad house. If not for the SaaS business model and having 95% government customers, who are hell to work with, this ship wouldv'e sunk long ago.
