Pros

There are no pros to this company

Cons

- No such thing as work life balance. You are expected to be logged on 24/7 even on PTO - Managers are rude, ill-mannered, and unprofessional - HR does not take any concerns escalated to them seriously - No resources to learn or grow your career - They do not have any formal processes in place (onboarding, learning, salary review, performance review, etc) - EXTREMELY HIGH TURNOVER RATE!

NFP values and is committed to supporting employees balancing their personal lives with their time at work. We are also committed to providing employees the opportunity to continue to develop through our learning system that has business-relevant content and topic-specific courses. We care deeply about our employees and always want to understand where we can continue to improve in the areas of communication and engagement. We are sorry to hear you did not have the kind of experience we want for our employees and use all the feedback we receive to better our culture. I invite you to contact me personally so I can better understand your concerns about how to help. – Kim Pillar, SVP, HR Leader – Eastern Region

Pros

40 hour work week, but not for everyone.

Cons

During COVID leadership didn't seem to care about the health and wellness of their people as much as they did keeping business as usual. Very traditional place that doesn't understand remote working. There's a lot of meetings and not a lot of progress.

Thanks for your feedback. NFP values balance between work and life and this was especially evident during the COVID pandemic. Led by our CEO, we were quick to create a critical response leadership team who immediately sought ways to protect our employees at work, which included shutting down offices and instituting vaccine and mask mandates during the height of the pandemic. We also instituted efforts to support our employees and their families first by providing 1 extra week of paid leave, the use of technology assets at home (while upgrading them to new monitors, laptops and collaboration tools) and well-being resource initiatives through frequent engagement and check-in sessions to help our employees prioritize their family’s physical, mental and emotional health. As part of the changing landscape of work during the pandemic, NFP implemented a Blended Workplace allowing employees the flexibility to work in the office and at home in a hybrid work environment. More than two years later our leadership response team still regularly meets on how to best support our employees and stay current with CDC and local health recommendations and guidelines. -Mary Steed, Chief People Officer

Pros

Offers work from home, but will returning back to the office soon. $30 gift cards for each anniversary Decent Medical/ dental benefits Decent pay ( less than 60k)

Cons

Severely lacking diversity and inclusion. Pays less than $60k Poor training structure No work/life balance The work is not parallel to the salary offered You cannot take off during Quarter End (1/31,3/31, 6/30, 9/30, and 12/31) - Most people loose PTO offered due to not being able to take time off. The overall culture is more along the lines of the 'segregation' period.

We appreciate you providing us a review as we take feedback and comments like these seriously. We have worked hard to take tremendous strides to become a more diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace where everyone feels they belong as well as providing the support our employees and their families need through our time off and health and welfare benefit offerings. Our Diversity Board and Business Resource Groups that launched in 2018 is made up of employees at all levels or our company and include our CEO, Chief D&I Officer, CHRO and Head of Procurement. In partnership with our NFP employees, they have helped spearhead initiatives throughout our company to expand our reach with underrepresented communities by developing relationships with the Financial Alliance for Racial Equity (FARE) as well as being a leading sponsor with the Conference of African American Financial Professionals (CAAFP). We're working to establish new partnerships with the National African American Insurance Association (NAAIA) and the U.S. Black Chambers of Commerce. Our CEO, Doug Hammond, has personally signed the Paradigm for Parity pledge to work towards gender equity and joined the CEO Commission for Disability Employment to ensure people with disabilities achieve and maintain equal access to meaningful employment. While we know we have a long way to go, we take pride in the meaningful relationships and contributions we are working hard to make in our industry, communities, and world. We encourage our employees to get involved and help us find ways to make a difference! -Mary Steed, Chief People Officer
