Some pros of working for NPL is the great pay and the flexibility that the company has.

Cons

One con that the company has is that everything goes through southwest gas. Sometimes makes things confusing on who is in charge.

Senior leaders are willing to listen to input from the field. Employees are able to be part of the conversation which helps build loyalty.

Cons

Better communication throughout the company would help create a clear direction of where the company is going, what the goals are and how "we' are going to get there.

Pros

Plenty of overtime when Weather permitting. Newer equipment. Great coworkers. Good foreman and management for the most part.

Cons

Well below average pay all across the board including foreman,operators,drivers,fitters and laborers. Health benefits aren't very good. you can't possible retire on the money the company contributes to your 401k retirement. Company lacks some tools and equipment needed day to day. Higher up management has their head in the clouds and doesn't listen to the guys in the field.
