Wonderful Place to Work!

Pros

The people here are wonderful! My team members, especially, were great to work with. There is definitely a team and collaborative mentality. As you can imagine, they make great efforts to make sure everyone is included, have the tools to succeed professionally, and care about each individual employee as people. It is honestly the best place I have worked thus far. There are a lot of groups you can join in chats and meetings so you really feel connected, even in remote working environments.

Cons

Unfortunately, the job stability and pay is not the best since it is a non-profit organization.

Pros

Good pay. Good benefits. Looks good on a resume

Cons

Working at NPR Distribution was debilitating to my self-worth. It made me consider a complete career change. NPR Distribution is an absolute waste of tax payer money. They are spinning in circles due to horrible management. With the exception of very few helpful people, most of the team will treat you like an idiot for not knowing anything and everything about public radio that they've learned in their 20+ years in their industry. The SVP doesn't know the difference between revenue and profit.
