Pros

Great people trying to do a lot with little direction and not enough resources.

Cons

Leadership team is out of touch and ignorant of the day to day process. Every few years there is a major shake-up in culture and direction. Whichever "leader" or "leaders" survive are given a free hand to restructure portions of the company and many take the opportunity to punish perceived slights and old scores. As morale, productivity, and profits dip that group of leaders is swept away and a new group is promoted or brought in and the cycle starts over. In this company success is driven by who you know, not talent, hard-work, or results.

Pros

Nice building, both inside and out, free parking if they have room for you, otherwise they pay for a parking garage, close to university.

Cons

A revolving door, 70% employee turnover in one year. Dishonest managers. Fired 8 people one day because their insurance costs went up. They don't pay you for unused vacation when you leave so use it up first!

Pros

I owe a whole lot to NRC. Things may not have ended the way I had hoped, but there is no chance I am where I’m at today without NRC Health. Over the course of my 4-years there, I was given exposure to opportunities that frankly I wouldn’t have gotten anywhere else. I got to work with some of the best in the business, and genuinely enjoyed the people I was surrounded with. Things have changed, and a lot of people have left, but I do think anyone trying to get their sales career off the ground can experience a lot of growth here. I owe a lot of my success to this place and the people here.

Cons

The compensation plan is going to be difficult for any sales driven individual to buy into. A team based plan only works when everyone is bought in, and when everyone is equally producing. Unfortunately, that is not how things work in this industry, as the sales process is very cyclical where reps go through extreme highs and lows. I also think there was a concern around technological advancements being made to products. It seemed over the course of the last two years that NRC stopped focus on innovating and spent more effort on cleaning up their current solutions. That is fine, but when you see the dramatic shift occurring with new tech entrants in the marketplace, that should be cause for concern. NRC sold itself to organizations as the innovative company with a more progressive approach than PG, but now they’ve fallen into the same category of organization as PG cirque 2018.
